The 1st International Symposium on Systems Intelligence Division

The Systems Intelligence Division, of which Prof. Asada is the director, will hold the 1st international symposium.

Osaka University, Open and Transdisciplinary Research Initiatives (OTRI) is a new research institution that started in April 2017 and shifted from the “Cognitive Neuroscience Robotics Division (CNR)” of the Institute for Academic Initiatives (IAI) to the “Systems Intelligence Division (SID)” of the OTRI. This time, as a kick-off symposium, we will hold for two days, featuring Professor Andrew N. Meltzoff, maestro of developmental psychology, at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, who has been doing collaborative research with us for a long time. We will discuss ways of intelligence of systems in various fields such as philosophy, cognitive science, psychology, sociology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, robotics etc. We are looking for widely participants and poster presenters as well as members of this research organization.
