Distinguished Service Award from the Robotics Society of Japan

Professor Minoru Asada, Specially Appointed Professor, has received the 19th Distinguished Service Award from the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ).

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals or organizations that have made particularly outstanding contributions to the management and various activities of the Robotics Society of Japan. The award aims to encourage such contributions and recognize their distinguished service to the Society. (link)

Professor Asada received this award in recognition of his significant contributions to “enhancing and promoting the value of the Society and advancing its internationalization.”

The award ceremony was held on September 3, 2026, during the 44th Annual Conference of the Robotics Society of Japan.
